I have had the opportunity to capture so many love stories at so many different venues in Tennessee. There is one that has been at the top of my “must shoot” list and that is The White Dove Barn in Beechgrove, Tennessee. This wedding venue is only a little over 30 minutes outside of Nashville. It has that tranquil, rustic charm feel that so many brides are loving! They not only have many five star ratings and reviews from past couples, but they were named Wedding Wire’s Couple’s Choice Award for 2020!
One of my favorite things about this venue is that it sits on 10 beautiful acres that you get exclusive access to. Not only that, but they offer a selection of packages including an all inclusive option making planning your wedding easy and stress free!
This venue is one-of-a-kind and is perfect for the couple that is looking for an open space that also embodies a southern charm. From the white reception barn with 12-foot doors, to the 80-foot covered patio and pond nearby, this venue holds such beauty and sophistication.
I love when venues allow options when it comes to choosing your ceremony space. The White Dove Barn includes a few outdoor ceremony options. These include the outdoor pavilion that offers open air seating for 200 people complete with church pews, and the ceremony lawn complete with a stone fireplace. Either ceremony spot will offer a beautiful backdrop for the photos during your ceremony!
The covered porch is the perfect place for your cocktail hour before transitioning into your reception in the climate controlled barn. The porch offers 25-foot ceilings and chandeliers and plenty of space for your guests.
When it comes to getting ready for your wedding day, they offer both a bridal suite and groomsmen quarters. The bridal suite is complete with sofas, a private bathroom, six vanity stations, and a bar for those pre-ceremony mimosas! The groomsmen quarters are complete with TV’s, a bar area, and stools for seating. Both spaces are not only perfect for getting ready with your bridal party, but you can capture some great getting ready photos!
One of the things that is a selling point for a lot of couples is the convenience of included amenities in their wedding package and I couldn’t agree more! It makes wedding planning so much easier not having to worry about finding additional vendors. It can also save you money on your wedding day.
Along with a few a la carte package options including full and partial wedding planning (the White Dove Barn offers in-house wedding planners!) or a month/day of coordinator, they also offer an all-inclusive wedding package that includes:
There are also additional included items such as sparklers for a sparkler send off (which as a wedding photographer I highly recommend as they make some of the best photos!) white candles, drinkware for your bar, appetizer and cake plates as well as forks and napkins.
When you book your wedding with them, you will also receive access to their white chairs for your ceremony and reception, their 8-foot white washed farm tables, and handcrafted bar. There is also a kitchen space complete with an ice maker, refrigerator, and commercial sink—everything your caterer will need to prepare for your cocktail party or dinner.
All of these included items in your wedding package fit seamlessly inside the barn. Because the inside of the barn is a blank canvas, it allows you to completely customize the space with your decor. This also gives you the option for a super minimal and clean design, which I love as a photographer.
While there is already a lot included in their packages, you also have the option to bring in outside rentals to make the space your own to bring your wedding day dreamboard to life! I think that some soft seating and lounge areas would look amazing at White Dove Barn.
When my couples are unsure on what direction to go when choosing your additional vendors, I always recommend connecting with your venue and asking them if they have a list of preferred vendors (which luckily The White Dove Barn does!). This makes your planning process so much easier, not to mention stress free, as these are vendors that the venue has frequently worked with. It is always a breath of fresh air when vendors have worked a venue multiple times before and know what to expect when it comes to your wedding day!
If you have guests that are planning to travel in from outside of town, booking a venue that has nearby accommodations is a plus! The White Dove Barn has a list of six recommended accommodations, all nearby for the convenience of your guests! There’s both airbnb/vacation rentals and a few hotels nearby to house all of your guests.
I highly recommend that anyone who is looking for a wedding venue that has a bit of rustic charm but is also customizable allowing you to bring your vision to life, inquires with The White Dove Barn! If you’re looking for more information on the venue itself and the packages that they offer, you can check out their website here.
If you’re getting married at White Dove Barn and are still in need of a wedding photographer, I’d love to be there to capture your love story so get in touch and let’s get started! You can see more of my work in my portfolio, and learn more about me here!
