Nashville Farm Wedding in the Fall | Aidan + Solomon

wedding couple standing together at fall nashville farm wedding at ashland city farms

Aidan and Solomon exchanged vows and celebrated their love with their closest family and friends on a gorgeous, sunny, cold fall day. But the sweet couple didn’t let the unseasonably cold weather stop them from enjoying their wedding!

Aidan is a pianist and a composer, so she chose to get ready with her girls in a beautiful space featuring a piano. We were able to include the piano in some detail shots as well as some of Aidan’s bridal portraits, which was such a sweet touch. (Brides, you’ll love your getting ready photos so much if you intentionally choose a pretty or meaningful location!) Even though it was dramatically different from the bohemian gown she originally wanted, Aidan wore a stunning, white satin ball gown with drop-sleeves. She lovingly referred to her wedding dress as “Grace Kelly,” and she looked as effortlessly chic and timeless as her dress’s namesake.

Solomon is also a photographer, and he was so generous with the time and creativity he allowed me for photos. Not only that, it’s just fun to be able to talk shop and nerd out about camera gear with a fellow photographer!

As for their favorite moment, Aidan and Solomon both agreed that the first look was the best. “Even though things were extremely stressful and there were things that didn’t go to plan… as soon as I saw him, it all melted away. I felt safe, happy, and worry-free because we were together,” Aidan shared.

When you’re a Nashville wedding photographer, fall weddings can sometimes start to feel a little predictable. But Aidan and Solomon had a refreshing take on the seasonal vibe. Aidan’s bridal bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and full of unique blooms. Her bridesmaids wore neutral-toned dresses that were beautifully accented by their burgundy bouquets. The elevated décor featured pops of burgundy, plenty of flowers, and pretty little details throughout. They used the season as inspiration, but truly made it their own.

One of my favorite things about Aidan and Solomon’s wedding was the intentional ways they chose to spend time alone together. They gave me at least an hour to capture their portraits, so we were able to traipse all over the property and get some truly epic shots. They had so much fun just being together and relaxing amid all of the chaos that accompanies a wedding day. The couple also chose to enjoy their dinner at a private table, away from the reception, so they could focus on each other and the monumental vows they had exchanged.

Aidan and Solomon were one of those chill, fun couples that are just a joy to work with. I know they were so honored by the support of everyone who came to celebrate their love, and I wish them a very happy ever after!

Vendor love!
