After 15 years shooting weddings I can confidently say that every wedding is different and that is what keeps me absolutely in love with my job. You will feel your own feels with your people, do your favorite things, dance to your favorite songs, eat your favorite foods, and marry your favorite person.
I’ll arrive at your wedding with knowledge of who you are and what(and who) is most important to you so you can be fully present and trust that I’ll capture it all for you.
My approach
I keep my camera up during the in-between moments because I know that’s where the magic happens.
A hand squeeze, a tear forming in dad’s eye unbeknownst to you, one last deep breath before walking down the aisle, the exhale with your partner in those post-ceremony moments.
Instead of showing up with a list of poses and photo ideas I will...
- Keep a special eye on your aunt who is like a second mom to you watching you get married
- Know when to take you outside for 5 minutes of quiet and soak-it-in time with your partner
- Get lots of floral detail photos because I know they include your grandma’s favorite flower
- Get through family formals in an organized relaxed way so you can enjoy your time with family instead of being stressed
The first step is to send me a message and tell me all about your story and wedding plans! Then we'll get to chatting about the details via email, or phone call. I'd love to meet in person if you're located in Nashville as well. We'll go over all the important things and make sure that we're a perfect fit for each other.
It's so important to me that I connect with my couples. After all, I'll be with you more than any other vendor and it's so much more fun and relaxed when you feel like you've got a good friend by your side!

Step 1 of 5
Once we've got you booked, we'll start talking about your engagement session. This is really the best way for us to get to know each other and get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day! I know that no one loves being in front of the camera, but I promise you I make it fun and give you lots of direction so you know what to do and still look like your real joyful selves.
Engagement sessions are also a great way to get awesome photos of the two of you looking like you do on a typical day and not just all done up for your wedding. I love doing these somewhere meaningful or personal. They're perfect for save-the-dates and framed prints throughout your home.

I'll start sending over some helpful information to help you along in the planning process as soon as you're officially booked! After over a decade of shooting weddings, I have lots of vendor recommendations and just general wedding day tips that I love to share with my couples. We'll also chat about your timeline and figure out the best way to structure your day tailored to your unique plans.

Keeping In Touch
Step 3 of 5
It's time to marry your person!!
Once your wedding day is here, you'll be able to just enjoy and have the best day ever with your people. I'll send you a questionnaire before your wedding day where you can let me know all the important details including your family photos, final timeline, and everything else that is special and important to you so that I'm fully prepared to capture your day exactly how you pictured it.

Step 4 of 5
Your gallery will be delivered to you no more than 8 weeks after your wedding, and I will always send some sneak peeks shortly after your day to hold you over until they are all finished!
Once you receive your gallery you'll get to relive the most amazing day through your photos, share them with friends and family, and order prints directly from your gallery so you can hang your photos in your home to see every day.
I highly recommend adding a custom designed album to your package if it doesn't come with one. Future generations won't have your phone or computer, but they will be able to flip through your archival wedding album.

We sat down tonight with a glass of wine and completely re-lived our wedding day all over again. It’s more beautiful than we could have imagined and we got to see things from your perspective that we missed during all the rushing around. You are a true artist and have the most lovely eye for gorgeous detail. There are so many photos that made us want to cry and many that made us laugh out loud! Our album is absolutely stunning and everything we could have ever wanted. I can't say enough good things about Sara! She is incredible! Sara did our proposal, engagement, and wedding pictures and all three shoots were everything we hoped for and more. Not only does she produce the best pictures I've ever seen, but she is a dream to work with.
She is chill and go with the flow, but took charge on wedding day to keep family and the wedding party in line so as not to go over on timing.

She is professional, responsive, organized, and accommodating. I would recommend her to anyone.
